

FAMILY FUN FAIR AT MT. AUBURN ELEMENTARY
This Saturday, FTC 13227, The Mechnicats, along with another member from team 11745 and other future Robocats presented their robots at the Dallas ISD Family Fun Fair sponsored by the Dallas Regional Day School Program (RDSP) for the Deaf. THE MECHANICATS TAKE ON UIL STATE!
After winning the MOTIVATE award at the Wylie Regional, the Mechanicats were invited to participate in the 2018 UIL State Championship for FTC in Austin Texas! Due to DISD, the girls had the pleasure of sharing a bus with Townview's FTC team, Iron Reign. Both of these teams left Austin with a win! WOODROW AT WOMEN'S TECHNOLOGY COALITION
Last Thursday, the Mechanicats participated in the Women's Technology Coalition Forum. The forum was held at Venture X and hosted a variety of both men and women in STEM. This was a great learning experience for the Mechanicats because it allowed them to connect with other people that work in fields not typically related to STEM, but that used the foundations of STEM to expand their businesses and fields of expertise.
